Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to maintain the on-time production of the disassembly with a primary focus on quality, safety, and organization of workstations.
Education and/or work experience Requirements:
Ability to work with hand tools
Basic Qualifications:
Technical knowledge and ability to read instructions, service manuals, specifications, drawings, etc.
Ability to use tools (micrometers, installation tools, torque wrenches, power tools) and test equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of quality control procedures.
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Safely and effectively complete quality disassembly process according to Tri Star standards.
Responsibilities:
Read and follow instructions and established procedures.
Collect all materials and tools needed to complete the procedure.
Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Report issues, malfunctions, or defective components.
Maintain a “tour ready” work environment.
Other assigned duties.
Physical Requirements:
Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
Able to stand on cement floors for 8+ hours.
Ability to lift and install engine components weighing 40 lbs repeatedly and 80lbs occasionally.
Environment/Equipment and Machinery
This position is in a manufacturing environment, primary focus on warehouse and disassembly area. Regular exposure to noise, oil, paint, lubricants, sealants, and cleaning chemicals.
