For your consideration,
Rome is a 4 year old, grade gelding standing 16+hh. (I'll get exact height!)
I suspect him to be a thoroughbred or Standardbred cross due to his height and build but I have no previous history on him.
Rome was thin when I got him, he spent last summer getting healthy, growing and flourishing.
Now that he's had some time to catch-up I've spent time with him this spring.
Rome leads, ties, loads, picks up all 4, knows his groundwork, saddles, and has had about 5 inconsistent short rides - walk/trot with no shenanigans to speak of. But because he is young and inexperienced, please don't ask to come ride him, or if he's suitable for children/beginners.
Rome's ideal pace in life is slow and steady. His ideal career would likely be leisure trail rides with someone that appreciates the slower lifestyle.
Please keep in mind, Rome is young and still needs confidence building, as he gets a bit unsure away from his friends. However, he is the first to greet you at the gate and is a huge teddy bear on stilts.
